A neutral redouble of a takeout or lead-directing double invites partner to help in the pursuit of a penalty. But a neutral redouble of a penalty or values double or of a penalty pass is for rescue and limited.

Looking for blood, as in most systems but a little stronger. West will probably be short in hearts and have eleven or more points in a defensive hand. Unlike other systems, we do not change the shape of Chilli because of their bids, so a bid other than redouble shows whatever it would have done without the double. In particular, such a bid does not deny the values for a redouble. For that reason, and because of the slightly higher points requirement, this type of redouble is much less common in Chilli.

A redouble of a penalty pass, so asking partner to consider another contract. Please.

If the double is penalty or values, then this is again for rescue. But this time opener should just bid
2
, and let West bid his five-card suit.

West could have run to a five-card minor, so the message here must be 'pick a minor'.
