Having chosen to make double a strong bid of amorphous shape, we then have another other troublesome type of sequence to deal with: leftie opens 1
and you hold a hand of opening strength with hearts. On the general Chilli neutral principle of ignoring their bidding as much as possible, a 2
overcall is equivalent to a weak 2
, so we may have to look elsewhere.
Often it will be possible to make a weak no-trump overcall (especially as this does not guarantee a stop), and stronger hands can stretch to a strong double. For other hands we must accept a widening of the meaning of 2
to also include opening strength hands with maybe only five hearts.
Responder will have to act initially as if the bid is weak, but count on only five trumps for pre-emptive purposes.

is notionally weak, but it might be only five hearts and opening values.
