Auctions, either neutral or disturbed, become fit if we agree or unilaterally set a suit, and remain so for the rest of the auction.
The bid that agrees or sets a suit is a fit bid. It agrees the most recently mentioned suit in which it is possible to have a fit – usually the last shown suit. It also conveys a specific message within that newly created fit auction e.g. limit, splinter, controls and so on.
Fit bidding is the most structured and conventional of the Chilli auction types.
